Grocery shopping adventures continue....

So we had a fun family activity tonight..we went and saw Kung Foo Panda, ate out at Fazoli's and got our new van registered!! YEAH!! It was a blast! Afterwards, I dragged everyone to Albertsons to get our weekly allotment of groceries (ok technically its last week's allotment since I wasn't able to go last week...I'm not sure if I reminded Cory of that or not....hhhhmmmm...)
So...here is some of what we bought....
10 boxes of Cheerios
12 boxes of Hot Pockets
9 boxes of Kellogs cereals (frosted flakes, corn flakes etc.. yeah we're set for cereal for a WHILE!)
20 cans of Chef Boyardee ravioli
10 boxes of Quaker instant oatmeal

plus some other things--keep in mind the goal is not to get the groceries that we will just be using this week...its to get the groceries at the best price to last until they are at the best price again...make sence?

Our total before the coupons was $213.27
After sales and coupons my total was $ 73.58

Munchkin #4 is a ......

So today was our ultrasound. :-D What fun to go look at all of their fingers and toes. I am always facinated looking at their heart beat...it goes so fast! Babies are a miraculous event!And to everyone who was SURE it was a girl........
It was so very clear it is a BOY! God must want us to raise missionaries.
And NOBODY better say that they are sorry that we are having another boy! :-D

Its almost fall!

No we aren't putting up the pumpkins this year...lol...we offended to many people last time we put them up. But they still make me laugh.

Grocery Shopping day...

So today was the first day of playing the grocery store shopping game. I saved coupons from Sunday's paper and played them against the sales. I bought enchilada sauce, cinnamon rolls, hamburger helper, cookie dough, chex mix and a ton of other things that we use a lot. The total before coupons was $152.19...and then after coupons is was $52.57. That was a savings of $99.42.

and there is definitely two lines there! So I guess we will have another munchkin in February!

Pictures pictures

So after looking at all the great pictures of Keri's kids I dragged my kids out to take some pictures of them. I wanted to take them to the sunflower field, but it was all fenced up..not to friendly looking. --they weren't to keen on sunflowers either..lol.. So we found a nearby cornfield that was very nice looking. And then of course I had to edit all the pics like crazy.

Trip to Tooele

This last while we have been in Tooele visiting my sister. Her husband just came home from some military training and has been gone for about 6 months. The family is ECSTATIC to have him home! My sister's family is very close, so 6 months seemed like 6 years! There was a huge family and neighborhood bbq with an awsome slip and slide. It was so much fun. There was also a bday cake for Ren--their youngest who just turned one. Happy Birthday Ren!! We had a great time!
