A day of birdwatching...

Today we had a field trip out west of Cedar Mountain. The bald eagles migrate through there and we wanted to see them. We only saw a half or dozen or so since we are a little late this year I guess. The last one we saw was HUGE--probably 3 feet tall and it was tearing something apart and eating it. Probably a squirrel or something--very cool.

Not only did we see the eagles but we saw red tail hawks, sharp shinned hawk (very white an so pretty!!) and a flock of wild turkeys.

The kids also had a chance to play in some snow--a rare treat! (notice the shorts and sandals)

Emmitt...you're a hoot!!

We went at 6am this morning to the
Albertsons on Bluff street. They were very well stocked with everything! The only thing they were out of was the mentos gum. Oh well..lol.. Our checker-Patsy was AWESOME! She was so helpful and nice. I guess the store yesterday was insanely busy so I'm glad we waited until today to go--cause it was EMPTY. We never had to wait in line for more than a minute for each of our transactions.

Happy Valentines and a few other things

Ok..a few musings today. First of all Happy Valentines to all of my family and friends. Both near and especially far away. (Love ya Dad!--and Mom too..lol... ;-)

This is what I made for Cory for Valentines Day. I had a lot of fun doing it. I wrote a little poem to go with it about how I'm a puzzle he gets to figure out for all of eternity. A puzzle that is never solved. *sigh*

The boys were so cute for Valentines day. They earned some money cleaning up the patio (and they did a fabulous job!) and they purchased me some chocolate lips and they bought Cory some heart cupcakes. They know what we like! They also bought me some conversation hearts....IN SPANISH! They were so excited to find them in Spanish. I wonder if they know I don't know very much Spanish yet..lol..

The other day I caught Ben pouring syrup all over the kitchen floor. So, I gave him a rag and told him to clean it up. Well, this is what I found. Whats that line in Buddy the Elf???.."We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup. !"

And lastly, since I am a hermit with the baby, here is a couple pictures for everyone to ahhhh at.

Brandi's name was drawn. I'm glad she likes Pink Sugar. :-) Sorry about the confusing rules--next time I'll do better.

Mark had his 2 week checkup today and weighed an entire pound more than a week ago.
Pretty impressive!

Cookie Cutter Babies

Ok...just for fun I'll do a little giveaway. I'm not a cutesy crafty gal in comparason to some *cough-keri-cough* so I'll give away one of my last pink sugar roll on perfumes. I'm on break from selling my products right now, so this is something that isn't available for a while. :-)

Here's the fun part.

I have noticed that my boys look a lot alike. Here is a picture of when they were each 3-5 days old. If you can guess who is who, then I will enter you into a drawing for the perfume. Guess one time per comment but enter as many times as you like. I'll pick a winner on Thursday at noon.

Here is a current picture to compare. James is holding Mark, then Ben and Luke.

Little Mark

Oh what a week! Its been a week since Mark was born and I still don't feel like I'm back to normal. I have been able to get a shower each day (Thank Heavens!!) but thats about it. The dishes are slowly stacking up and if it wasn't for Cory, the laundry wouldn't be done. But how can housework be done with this adorable baby staring at me! He loves to be held and I happily oblige. The boys are happy to help out also. They have been doing everything I ask--at least most of the time. Even Ben gets diapers and throws them away. I have great boys!

And just for the record, I have the best ward and most awesome friends! There have been so many calls/visits/dinners that I really appreciate. I was worried about the baby blues but so far so good and I really think that all this extra attention has made a great difference. THANK YOU ALL!
